In the web seminar, the innovative solutions that can be rapidly applied in the automotive market to reduce Electric Vehicles’ weight were presented together with the research outcomes of the five European projects FLAMINGo, REVOLUTION, LEVIS, Alma and Fatigue4Light.
The webinar brought together representatives of the five projects and sector experts to reflect on the latest development in the field and to define a common vocabulary for future discussions.
On behalf of LEVIS, Clara Valero from ITAINNOVA and Guan Gong from RISE presented simulation methods for accurate failure and service life predictions and optimized designs as well as strategies for fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) composite parts harvesting and reuse.
